Pearls are a mother's best friend
I bought this precious rosary for my aging Mom who's battling Covid-19 in the hospital since Jan 3rd. She's transferred recently to a convalescent home for her recuperation, and she's allowed guest visitation daily. I brought the gift-wrapped box from the Vatican Gift to my Mom during my first visit to her in the convalescent home. She's lucid now and knows everything that's going on around her. I opened the gift box for her and showed her the pearl rosary. We were discussing with my Dad about where to put the rosary in the room, and she motioned to put it in her hands. So I wrapped the beautiful pearl rosary around her left hand, and it shimmered in her hand. She smiled at this and appeared to be at peace (although she's in physical pain still). I told her that now she has our Lord in her hands always while she's in that hospital, and she will never be alone again in a strange place...
